The integrated circuit industry is the core of the information technology industry. It is also a strategic, fundamental and guiding industry that supports economic and social development, and guarantees national security. As a professional semiconductor industry investment platform, core team of Oriza Huachuang are local and returnee semiconductor entrepreneurs, and professionals from the most active and successful semiconductor investment fund in China. The team has more than 20 years’ experience in IC industry venture, business management and investment, both in domestic China and abroad.
Oriza Hua focuses on investment in the whole integrated circuit industry chain, including IC design, equipment, materials, new processing technologies, key IP and R&D technical services, tool chain development, and distribution. It also focuses on the basic software, core algorithms and innovative applications of integrated circuits (such as intelligent hardware systems and emerging electronic products) in the manufacturing and application of information.
Oriza Hua aims to promote integration of IC industry. It incubates a series of semiconductor companies with innovated technology through early and growth stage investment, which exerts synergies between start-up companies and platform-based enterprises, and fosters a new batch of new subdivision leading enterprises. Meanwhile, it helps domestic platform-based enterprises to achieve leaps and bounds through mature stage investment and M&As. Oriza Hua will actively explore domestic and international high-quality targets to help leading enterprises strengthen their core business competitiveness, to expand relevant emerging markets and to further enlarge and strengthen business.

Datong Chen
Managing Partner
B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in semiconductor devices and physics from Tsinghua University, and postdoctoral research at the University of Illinois and Stanford University.
As a co-founder, he founded Howell Technology and Spreadtrum Communications in 1995 and 2001 respectively, which were listed on NASDAQ. He was an investment partner of Northern Light Venture Capital and a founding partner of Huashan Capital; he founded Qingxin Huachuang in 2014 and Oriza Hua in 2018. He holds 34 US and European patents. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the China Invention Association and the China Semiconductor Association, and a member of the Investment Decision Committee of the National IC Industry Investment Fund. -
Yue Liu
Executive Partner
B.S. in Semiconductor Physics and Devices from Beijing University of Technology and an Executive MBA from Peking University.
Since 1996, she has served as Vice President of Beida Youth Group and Vice President of SMIC, and has more than 20 years of experience in the IC industry, including entrepreneurship and operation. She has successfully completed the first overseas investment case of domestic private enterprises in China, and led the investment in a number of IC companies such as Zhaoyi Innovation and Silicon Power. -
Haibin Wu
Executive Partner
PhD in Management Science and Engineering, MSc in Marketing and BSc in Industrial Foreign Trade from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
He has been the general manager of the strategic development department of Suzhou Oriza Holdings Co., Ltd, director of Sino-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Venture Capital Co. He has 10 years of experience in fund operation and management, and has been responsible for the establishment of equity investment funds, fund operation and management system and middle office management of Oriza Holdings, and has set up the largest mother fund in China - National Venture Master Fund, Oriza Shunfeng Special Fund, Prior M&A Fund and Origin Zhengzhi Series Fund. -

He previously served as General Manager of the Investment Department at HNA Group, Managing Director at Goldstone Investment (a subsidiary of CITIC Securities), and Managing Director at E-Town Capital. He brings 15 years of investment management experience.
His representative investment projects include OmniVision, SJSemi, DKEM, Empyrean, and Weien Standard. -

He holds a Bachelor's degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He previously served as General Manager of a Product Line and Senior Vice President at Spreadtrum Communications, as well as an Investment Advisor at Hua Capital. He brings nearly 20 years of industry experience in the semiconductor field, coupled with over three years of investment experience in the sector.
His representative investment projects include Kunlunxin (Baidu Kunlun), Smarter Micro, Black Sesame Technologies, BECK, DIOO, and Giga-Front.
